O Interior de Portugal Continental abrange a maioria do território de Portugal Continental ao incluir 165 municípios e 73 freguesias de outros municípios (Portugal Continental é constituído por 278 municípios). O Interior detém 80% do território e corresponde a 20% da economia, do PIB, da população e das empresas. O Interior é envelhecido e despovoado. As alterações climáticas são uma ameaça séria para Portugal. A agricultura é uma oportunidade estratégica para resolver a ameaça das alterações climáticas, puxando pelo desenvolvimento do Interior de Portugal.

The Interior of Portugal covers most of the territory of Continental Portugal by including 165 municipalities and 73 parishes from other municipalities (Continental Portugal is made up of 278 municipalities). The Interior holds 80% of the territory and corresponds to 20% of the GDP, population and companies economy. The interior is old and unpopulated. Climate change is a serious threat to Portugal. Agriculture is a strategic opportunity to solve the threat of climate change, pushing for the development of the Interior of Portugal.
