A arquitectura monástica na produção biológica : reconversão do Convento das Carvalhiças em Centro Biológico

Abstract

A presente dissertação investiga e aprofunda a temática sobre a influência Arquitetura Monástica na Agricultura. Procura melhoria através de pequenas intervenções, unir diferentes espaços, combinando a agricultura e a arquitetura, na promoção da cultura e continuação dos costumes. O objetivo deste trabalho visa em provocar uma evolução e dinamização do lugar, aclarando consciências para a importância da paisagem e da história local. Através de pequenas intenções, procura-se consolidar a paisagem e combater o abandono de Centro Histórico. Pela forte ligação da região com o mundo rural, optou-se por relacionar a agricultura e a arquitectura tornando o desenho agrícola um desenho rural. Procurou-se identificar património arquitectónico não aproveitando e torná-lo um local de oportunidade, e promoção da agricultura da região. Pretendeu-se conhecer Melgaço, ao nível físico e humano, valorizando e tendo em conta a importância do lugar.

The present paper study and seek the Monastic Architecture influence in the Agriculture, where we try, through some little interventions, unify different spaces, allying agriculture and architecture as a way to promote culture and perpetuate uses. The goal of this paper it’s about to reconcile the evolution and dynamics of the place, appealing to the importance of the landscape and local history. In fact, through some intentions we seek to consolidate the landscape and oppose to the abandonment of te Historical Center, identiing the causes and the consequences. We chose to relate Agriculture and Architecture, turning the agricultural design in urban design. Try to identify architectural heritage unimproved, and transform it into an opportunity’s local and promote the Agriculture in this region. We want to know Melgaço at physical and human level, valuing and taking into account the importance of the place.
