A dissertação apresentada enquadra três temáticas - Património, Vinho e Arquitetura. Abstract: The following investigation presents three thematic fit - Wine, Architecture and Heritage. Provides a route that runs through the understanding of the concept of Heritage. Exposes its magnitude to focus subsequently the concept of architectural heritage and its surrounding context, taking the experience of its approach as value within project development. It follows the theory of intervention, assuming its regulation and bringing reference cases with the inclusion of authors like Gino Chierici, Giorgio Grassi and Carrilho da Graça. It defends the value of Wine within the concept of Heritage sustained, proceeding to its historical knowledge and recognizing wine turism as crucial for local development, integrating the protection and promotion of not only regional wine heritage, but the heritage that its wineries represent. It travels through the history of wine architecture, assuming the incresing presence of wineries with strong media impact, where the inclusion of a new social dimension, the freedom and plastic technical developments amplify the diversity of structure and form. It seeks to understand wine production and it presents references as the Dominus Winery (Herzorg and Meuron, 1995-1997), Adega Mayor (Siza Vieira, 2003-2006) and Quinta do Vallado (+ Guedes de Campos, 2007 - 2010). It assumes the wine state of Casa de Vila Boa, located in Vila Boa Quires, as the object of intervention, proposing a comprehensive rehabilitation project within a special approach to its classified heritage Obras do Fidalgo. It aims to stimulate the mobilization of the concept of Wine-architectourism, assumed as an architectural challenge and media development strategy based on a cultural tourism associated with an architecture that brings the heritage of the local winemaking tradition, the design of contemporary winery and architectural historical heritage on the same project, recognizing Architecture as fundamental towards the development of wine production and the preservation of monumental heritage of a region aimed at export it within the global market in an attempt to provide higher inflows to owners and population in general.por
