Avaliação da intervenção social em contexto de habitação social : a participação sócio-ocupacional no processo de (re)estruturação da população em situação de vulnerabilidade social

Abstract

A intervenção em Bairros Sociais denota-se crucial para promover bases de inclusão e integração social, sob o ponto de vista de erradicação do estigma e, sobretudo, do autoestigma. A intervenção deve corresponder às necessidades e problemas identificados pela população e às potencialidades identificadas, almejando a mudança social. A escuta ativa e a promoção da participação da comunidade no seu processo de mudança são imprescindíveis para que tal aconteça. O próprio espaço é preponderante para a construção e consolidação da identidade cultural da população. O presente artigo pretende compreender os efeitos da intervenção comunitária na vertente psicossocial e sócio-ocupacional da população residente nestes empreendimentos, avaliando o sentimento de pertença e autoestima através do estudo da participação em ações impulsionadoras de momentos que estimulam o envolvimento da população. Desta feita, pretende-se, com recurso à presente investigação, contribuir para o entendimento das dimensões sócio-ocupacionais que contribuem para a qualidade de vida dos participantes.

Intervention in Social Neighborhoods is crucial to promote bases of inclusion and social integration, from the point of view of eradicating stigma and, above all, self-stigma. The intervention must correspond to the needs and problems identified by the population and to the identified potentialities, aiming at social change. Active listening and promoting community participation in its change process are essential for this to happen. The space itself is preponderant for the construction and consolidation of the cultural identity of the population. This article aims to understand the effects of community intervention on the psychosocial and socio-occupational aspects of the population residing in these developments, assessing the sense of belonging and self-esteem through the study of participation in actions that stimulate moments that encourage the involvement of the population. This time, it is intended, using the present investigation, to contribute to the understanding of the socio-occupational dimensions that contribute to the quality of life of the participants.
