(Re)Evolução : o tempo arquitetónico

Abstract

A presente dissertação foi um estudo sobre o conceito do tempo, enquanto dimensão, aplicado ao método de fazer arquitetura num determinado espaço. Falar do espaço arquitectónico é falar da ligação entre tempo, espaço e Homem. É uma narrativa em que o protagonista é o tempo. Devido às suas imagens pré-concebidas, as referências têm o poder de sintetizar a experiência espacial captada, proporcionando uma relação emotiva com o lugar. O interesse por descodificar/apreender o método dos arquitetos, deu o mote para a elaboração desta dissertação. Tanto no método, como na busca da essência do lugar, pretendeu-se entender de que forma os arquitectos captam essa atmosfera. Propôs-se uma abordagem exploratória à importância do tempo no projeto de arquitectura. Pretendeu-se estudar o tempo, tentando a compreensão das suas múltiplas significações. Este foi o ponto de partida para compreender a influência do tempo, enquanto quarta dimensão da arquitetura, no ato metodológico, submetido à interpretação do arquiteto. Contribuindo para a configuração e reconfiguração do projecto durante o processo de trabalho.

This dissertation was a study of the concept of time as a dimension applied to the method of making architecture in a certain space. Talking about architectural space is talking about the link between time, space and man. It is a narrative in which the protagonist is the time. Because of their preconceived images, references have the power to synthesize the spatial experience abstracted, providing an emotional relationship with the place. The interest for decode/seize the method of architects, gave the motto for the development of this dissertation. Both in the method, as in the search for the essence of the place, was to understand how the architects capture that atmosphere. Proposed an exploratory approach to the importance of time in architectural design. It was intended to study the time trying to the understanding of its multiple meanings. This was the starting point for understanding the influence of time, while fourth dimension of architecture, in methodological Act, subject to the interpretation of the architect. Contributed to the configuration and reconfiguration of the draft during the working process.
