Abstract

Tentando ser a mais minuciosa possível e, simultaneamente clara, apresenta-se aqui a descrição do estágio, organizada segundo duas partes: a primeira fazendo referencia aos seguintes itens: introdução, contexto de Estágio do Mestrado em Psicologia Clínica onde é feita uma descrição da Instituição e das funções do Psicólogo em Gerontologia e finalmente a Contextualização Teórica, onde se apresenta uma abordagem sobre o envelhecimento, a depressão no idoso, as necessidades do idoso e as patologias neurológicas associadas ao envelhecimento; a segunda parte engloba itens como: a apresentação das diferentes actividades realizadas no estágio, nomeadamente a Estimulação Cognitiva e Acompanhamento Individual, finalmente a Reflexão Pessoal e as Referência Bibliográficas.

Abstract: Trying to be as thorough as possible while clear, we present here the description of the stage, organized in two parts: the first making reference to the following: introduction, context Stage Masters in Clinical Psychology which is a description of the Institution Psychologist and functions of Gerontology and finally the theoretical context, which presented an approach to aging, depression in the elderly, the needs of the elderly and neurological diseases associated with aging, the second part includes items such as the presentation of different activities performed on stage, including cognitive stimulation and coaching, personal reflection and finally references.
